1.) Remove the clips carefully.
2.) Begin by gently pushing the side, letting the clip move but not fully.
3.) Once the side is in place, start pushing again with the clips attached.
4.) Apply a bit more pressure; it should click and secure the clip.

I also thought so, but now I’m hesitant to try harder because the board is starting to bend and the ram isn’t moving.

The pieces attach to both surfaces. They don’t fit in the center. When you force it completely onto one side, the opposite one rises.

I agreed to keep the side going gently at first. That’s the method I use and it always helps. Your approach is too aggressive, but RAM does need a bit more effort to push in.

I pushed it as far as possible so the problem becomes clear in the photo. Even with maximum force, it still doesn’t go all the way through. It’s not that I haven’t tried before—I know you need to apply more pressure now. At this stage, I’m worried my RAM or motherboard might be bad.
