Hello, I recently got an Aorus Elite MB450 and paired it with a Ryzen 7 5700G using the latest BIOS. When I used dual-channel RAM, only one stick appeared—slots A1 and A2 seem to work best. Initially I suspected a faulty motherboard, but testing with a Ryzen 5 2600 confirmed dual-channel functioned properly. Also, the BIOS doesn’t offer an XMP profile option. I’ve tried various RAM sticks, placed one in B slots at a time, used different Ryzen CPUs, reset CMOS, and everything seems to work now. Thanks!

The suspect could lie in the CPU's memory controller. All CPU pins appear intact, with no signs of debris or dust inside the socket.

This suggests the CPU's IMC is probably the issue. Would it be possible to return the CPU for a replacement? You might also test the same CPU in another module to see if the problem persists.

The CPU has been out of warranty for a while. Testing it on another motherboard isn't really possible since I only have the spare CPU. Updating the BIOS could potentially assist.

You upgraded straight to the newest BIOS or did you go through F31/32, then F40, and finally F65e? If you ignore the guidance for F31/32 and F40, they mentioned a possible RAM problem.
