Ram doesn't fully sink into the motherboard

I placed an order for an AsRock Rack 1U4LW-X470 server with an AMD AM4 Ryzen processor, a 400W PSU, and a 16GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM from Amazon. Timetec CL17 ECC RAM was also purchased. During installation, the RAM didn’t fully seat in its slot. Is this type of RAM not suitable for your server’s motherboard? If it isn’t, what alternative should I consider?

Push it until it reaches the limit. Keep the alignment correct, it should work well. It’s better to push simultaneously from both sides.

It doesn’t seem to fit at all. It’s not moving smoothly and makes a rough grinding sound when you try to push it. I’m hesitant to push it any harder because there’s a risk of damaging it.

Make sure you're applying more pressure. A few connections might be tricky to handle.

It's fresh and snug. Worked similarly with my Maximus Hero and the new Trident-Zs. You're in good shape—just push a bit, and it'll be okay.
