Hello everyone,
I have this PC:
HP Victus 15L TG02-0037np

And I purchased a new RAM kit:
G.Skill F4-3200C16D-32GTZR
https://www.gskill.com/product/165/166/1...16D-32GTZR
The manufacturer says it's for AMD. Will it work with the Intel 12400F CPU?

In the worst case it might operate at JEDEC standard timings. Give it a try. After observing its performance, reboot and enter BIOS. Activate XMP to check if it posts and boots windows. Based on timing nuances it could be less stable though that seems unlikely. If you recently purchased the memory from a store, consider returning it for a refund or exchange.

I believe the RAM is designed for AMD because it supports their specific architecture and compatibility requirements.

Intel demands XMP, while AMD offers either XMP or EXPO, the latter being available just on Intel platforms. The model referenced supports XMP 2.0, making it suitable for both Intel and AMD systems.

Since the store website and the packaging mention "Compatible with RYZEN," I assumed it might face issues now that I plan to use an Intel CPU.
