Hello, everyone. I discovered my Windows Defender (antimalware) using more than 200–320 MB when idle or during browsing. Sometimes it reaches over 700 MB. Should I be concerned? Is this normal for a system with 32 GB of RAM? Thanks!

It looks typical to me. With 32GB of RAM, Windows seems perfectly fine. If you need, you can share a screenshot of the Task Manager and I’ll take a look.

You're seeing normal fluctuations based on your usage patterns. Higher activity like file transfers or game installations can increase consumption slightly. Windows applications generally use more memory when RAM is available, but the difference is usually small and not indicative of any issue.

I think I was overthinking it too much. When I checked again, everything was back to normal at 170MB. Thanks for getting back on track!
