I just swapped the 16GB single-channel SODIMM for a 32GB dual-channel model. I was thinking about adding that to my second laptop, but it has two 8GB sticks with faster speeds but slower timings. Could swapping one of those 8GB sticks for the 16GB stick from another laptop cause issues? Also, would it still work if I used two RAM sticks of different sizes together?

You're checking the speeds and timing options. It should function properly, offering dual channel until you exceed 16GB. If you stay under that limit, it may not be worthwhile.

Consider swapping in 2933 MHZ CL22 for 2666 CL 19. It was just a thought, but if it doesn’t add value, I’ll abandon the idea.
