I possess an i5 2400 with 8GB DDR3 1333MHz and a GTX950. My gaming setup includes Apex Legends, Realm Royale, and Dying Light, achieving roughly 85-100 FPS each. I usually cap my frame rate at 60 using Vsync, but performance drops noticeably after every ten seconds. The issue persists despite stable temperatures (around 50°C CPU, 55°C GPU) and comfortable RAM usage (2GB+2GB or 4GB). I suspect memory configuration might be the problem. Would replacing the two 2GB modules into a single 4GB module help resolve this?

Removing either 2gb or 4gb doesn't solve the issue. The problem remains unaffected.

I take away 4 GB or both 2 GB drives, and I’ll definitely receive a large number of freezes because the 4 GB RAM won’t be sufficient for any games I play.
