Hi everyone, I’m facing an issue. I upgraded my RAM from Kingston HyperX Savage Black 8GB (2x4GB) to DDR4 Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB (2x4GB). After installing them on the motherboard and launching the PC, I encounter BSOD errors. I’ve read that timing differences matter and if I adjust things properly it should work. Plugging in only the new RAMs fixes the problem, but when all slots are filled, the BSOD appears again. My RAMs are connected in a zig zag pattern (Fury, Savage, Savage, Fury). I’ve attached the BIOS settings for reference. Can you help me figure out the correct configuration?

Just a quick check—did you modify it years back? Are the new RAM 2133MHz the same as before? Mismatched speeds could be the problem.

They are both 2133M Hz, but the timing differs slightly.

This configuration isn't ideal. If it functions, you may be restricted to a single channel. However, removing CMOS and adjusting speed and timing individually should resolve the issue.

The images indicate two RAM modules: CL13 and CL14, with the system showing CL13. Auto should have resolved this for you. A BIOS reset could fix it, or adjust the first screenshot’s three 13s to 14s might help. It seems the device may have mistakenly read values from just one set. Also, since both kits support XMP, enabling that setting could provide a solution.

The picture 1 label was initially auto and isn't functioning. Changing the settings to 13 or 14 didn't help either. I plan to perform a BIOS reset when I get home. Regarding XMP, what does it do? How can I enable it and see if it resolves my issue?

What Motherboard?? Have you tried the new sticks alone? Because its entirely possible that they got damaged in shipping.

They remain intact, I attempted to link them separately, and it functioned correctly.
