Cases, I meant scenarios. For example, some software could gain from more modules, though it wouldn’t make much of a difference with just 2x8. Maybe not for ten years, but perhaps five? It depends on what you plan to do with it. Adding RAM later is an option, yes. But by the time 32 gigs are seen as insufficient, I think upgrading will be necessary. If the RAM speed matches the other modules you install, you could try that, but as others mentioned, it’s better to use identical modules instead of mixing them. It’s 32 gigs per slot, which would total 128 gigs. Your motherboard can handle 128 gigs across all four slots, not per slot.

The Air 100 features four fans with a 120 mm diameter. It serves as a typical tower case. In contrast, the Silverstone is compact. It doesn’t stand upright; instead, it rests flat on your desk like a typewriter. It employs 80 mm fans. What draws interest to the Silverstone? Why might you think about it?

The current price is seventy-five dollars on Amazon. There are many standard mid-tower cases available with 120 mm fans at that cost.

Montecch AIR 100 would likely provide sufficient airflow for continuous operation over 365 days without needing a shutdown.

Yes, airflow wouldn't be an issue. 365 days without needing to restart the machine would be the main concern instead.

There would be occasional restarts. (for example, software needs restarting). The reason I avoid turning off is that I have set up automatic backups while sleeping. Another reason is I don’t want to spend time closing and reopening files to keep working the next day. I tried using the "sleep" function so I don’t need to close and reopen my files, but this feature is unreliable—it sometimes goes to sleep (screen turns black) and can’t wake up even after pressing the keyboard or mouse, requiring me to press the power button to turn off and then back on.

Can a single stick of RAM function with the Asus B550M-A Prime Wi-Fi & Bluetooth (DDR4)?
If I have two 16GB RAM sticks, I’m considering whether my PC might be faulty and if I should test the motherboard by using one RAM at a time to see which one is causing issues. I was wondering if this approach works because in the past, the system needed two RAM modules to operate properly?

According to what I understand, a single stick should suffice. It should be sufficient enough to begin testing. RAM swapping in this manner is typically part of testing or troubleshooting. It might work for some sticks and not others—some could be good while others are faulty. You can try different combinations to find out which ones function properly.

RAM operates effectively with a single stick, but remember that dual-channel memory delivers better performance, so a 2x8 configuration would outperform a single 16GB stick.
