Hi everyone. Based on the advice shared, the Asus Maximus ROG Z690 Hero with a 12900K processor typically supports RAM speeds up to 4800MHz. The Z690 Hero also handles 6400MHz. Using XMP overclocking should work if your motherboard is compatible. For your setup, running 6400MHz RAM would be feasible, especially with two sticks of either 16GB or 32GB. The 12900K should comfortably exceed 4800MHz. Let me know if you need more details!

If the motherboard allows, you can adjust settings to make it work. It may support XMP, but that’s uncertain. A 6400 MHz clock speed seems high enough for most setups.

A safer choice might be around 5200MHz or 5600MHz depending on your needs.
