It would be better to go with 8GB, though I’m a bit of a memory hog—I usually use around 3GB just for Chrome. If you’re just opening the game and nothing else, it should work fine.

8GB should work well for most titles. It might be a personal thing, but with 16GB of RAM, games like Minecraft can consume up to 9GB.

With 8GB, BF4 required around 5GB RAM, but now 16GB gives it about 9.5GB. I think RAM will keep increasing with available space up to a limit.
