I mistakenly placed my RAM in the wrong slots initially. This likely contributed to the instability at higher speeds. The blue screens you experienced when aiming for 3200MHz suggest a compatibility issue. I plan to correct the RAM placement and try again.

The issue involves overlapping components like 1&3 with 2&4, effectively merging them. You're wondering what specific error appears on Blue Screens and why you suspect a memory problem.

It's been a while since the device displayed blue-screened images. I'll have to review my camera roll. I don't really recall how I figured out it was the RAM, but I slowed down and it stopped showing the blue effect and has remained that way for about 6-8 months now.

Did you verify the QVL for your RAM? Ryzen tends to be selective with RAM, though G.Skill should work fine—possibly a miscalculation. Were you setting the RAM manually or did you enable XMP/DHOC or similar auto-optimization in BIOS?

Yes, the RAM is on the QVL. I’ve upgraded my CPU so I can try boosting the clock speed again. When I manually adjusted it, it showed 2666MHz initially, but they wanted to raise it to the advertised rate. After that, it crashed—something I still recall clearly.

Ensure everything matches standard steps. Shift RAM to slots 2 and 4, then apply the DOCP/XMP profile. Allow BIOS to apply its saved settings and observe the outcome. Alternatively, attempt DOCP without moving RAM first to check if slot type is irrelevant.
