Navigate to the desired directory > click the right arrow icon > select 'Quick access' > tap "Pin current folder to quick access"

You're asking about expanding the 50 limit beyond that. It seems you might need to adjust settings or use a workaround, such as creating a folder with shortcuts and pinning it for quick access. This would allow you to have an unlimited number of files that are easily reachable.

You should check for a regedit file first. If not, create a folder as instructed. There was a folder for the jump list related to taskbar icons.
