I've noticed many people expressing excitement about the rainmeter desktop. It offers a tidy interface with clear CPU and RAM usage details, along with various widgets. Before trying it, I need to check its resource demands—specifically CPU, RAM, and whether it impacts boot time on an SSD. If it consumes excessive resources, I won't want to use it. Thanks! Dotoren

I used it for a long time before uninstalling it, as I didn’t use it much. Performance doesn’t seem to change.

I was hesitant to try it once, but it didn’t work for me. I believe it could add a second to login times. Not too important. It consumes relatively little memory and processing power. In comparison, Microsoft Word uses more resources than RainMeter.

Rainmeter offers additional applications beyond its primary function. I noticed a skin, also known as a dock or taskbar replica, that mimicked a Mac system.

I've been using it for roughly two years now and I really enjoy it. It uses very little resources, so you don't have to worry about that. Unless a resource-heavy plugin is installed... I pair it with the HWInfo plugin and basic tools like time, hard drive monitoring, CPU, RAM, and network. These are simple features that can be helpful when needed.

It combines elements of Enigma and HUD.Vision. I've also updated numerous files and objects to support external plugins like HWInfo for voltage data and MSI Afterburner for GPU metrics.
