I noticed the skins I added weren't really useful, and some popular ones like Honeycomb stood out. Making a new icon required you to build it yourself, which was time-consuming, and by then it didn't feel very satisfying.

I appreciate it, perhaps dedicate some time to creating icons? Given the limited options you have, you could design text-based icons to enhance the appearance. Personal taste is important here.

I was considering reinstalling Rainmeter after a long time—maybe five or six years? I wasn’t using it much then. I was hoping to show all my active network adapters.

It was really satisfying for me after investing 14 hours in building my desktop. Lmao! I even added some animations. However, it was quite challenging trying to achieve everything I wanted while ensuring it matched my background image, which kept changing. The result looked great.

It might be simpler than you think. You could easily explore similar options and find a skin with those features already built in, requiring only minor adjustments to match your preferences.
