Rainmeter?
Rainmeter?
I've been adjusting the UI settings on my Win7 system and considered adding Rainmeter. I'm curious—does Rainmeter put a strain on the CPU? It might affect performance, especially on older processors like Core2Duo. Any advice or experiences would be helpful!
Rainmeter is quite efficient... It runs smoothly on my system and consumes minimal resources. I mainly rely on it for monitoring activity and storage through a customized skin.
Rainmeter works well on a laptop with minimal resources, showing almost no impact on performance aside from a slight lag of about 1 FPS during games. My desktop shows no such difference.
I encountered issues with Rainmeter mainly because of unsafe third-party modifications. Some of those updates contain malicious code, while others are relatively secure.
