Rainbow six siege is now available for me.
I play Rainbow Six Siege on my PC, but it runs very slow. Shutting down Discord helps a bit, but I can’t hear my teammates. Turning off VSync also improves things, though the game still feels choppy. I get high frames at 144Hz. I’m not sure what’s causing the issue, but I have a second monitor at 75Hz (if that affects it). Please help me (RAM 2x8 GB DDR4 Vengeance 2133 MHz, MSI Armour RX 580, i5-6400 Skylake).
The game is utilizing high GPU and CPU resources when the settings are increased.
I've tried High and low, but it stays the same. I'm now at medium, even though it hasn't changed.
It used to perform well, especially when Discord was closed (then I couldn't hear my friends), and it offers decent FPS though it's quite choppy. The issue might stem from using monitors that run at 144Hz and 75Hz, while my RAM and GPU seem fine. AMD RADEON settings indicate my specs should exceed 60fps on the highest settings. My CPU usage is consistently between 90% to 100%, which is normal when running Discord and Spotify together.
I've tested the monitor, but nothing changes. Turning off hardware also doesn't help. The new 'showdown' gamemode seems to improve performance, possibly due to a smaller map and minimal HUD. I'm not sure what's affecting my gameplay.
Check the game files in uplay or reinstall them maybe, is it just the rainbow version? You might also consider trying updated GPU drivers.
