I am really struggling with my game stuttering lately. I have tried almost everything possible here. Here are the steps I've taken: Basic PC checks from Ubisoft, clean boot, running system file checker (SFC), reinstalling the game, giving it admin rights, turning off overlays, disabling full screen optimization, blocking anti-virus, Vulkan and non-Vulkan drivers, switching power modes between low or high, changing priority settings like above normal or high, adjusting Nvidia controls to switch Vsync on/off, limiting frames per second (FPS), clearing the DLSS cache and making it bigger. My computer is a bit old: I have an NVIDIA GTX 1070 with 4GB of VRAM, an Intel Core i7 6700K CPU running at 4GHz, 32GB of RAM, a power supply that might be okay (EVGA Supernova), a motherboard called B150M-DS3H-CF from Gigabyte, and an SSD with 476GB of space. I also have some older hard drives. Sadly, I can't remember all my specs now because I built this thing back in 2018. The problem only shows up when playing Siege. When I lower the FPS, the stuttering gets a little better but is still there. My computer temps are around 35 to 40 degrees Celsius. Ubisoft support said it was fixed after all my questions, but that wasn't true for me. I also checked three guides from Ubisoft about connectivity and performance issues in Rainbow Six Siege on PC links above.

Your motherboard model might help. You could look for the right one. Also, check your storage by downloading Speccy (make sure to turn off Ccleaner when you start it) - go here: https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy/download This tool will show exactly what computer parts and drives you have.

I edited my post, and it went out well because my computer worked fine with a different part too. So I think it's probably not this thing at all, though nobody can be certain.

I just thought it might help. I wonder if its the GPU drivers? you don't seem to have tried different driver versions? maybe its worth a try? you could run DDU in safe mode, remove current drivers and on restart, either get new drivers from Nvidia, or run windows update and let windows find older Nvidia drivers to use instead. A driver fix was supposed to help me last time, but I will just try that instead.

I accidentally booted into safe mode using the settings menu, which was a huge mistake. Now my computer just has a blank black screen and that's all.

No, it wasn't what I thought. Which button or trick got me into Safe Mode on my computer? I just tried turning the power off and back on again.

Do you have an installer? It's a handy boot drive. On another PC, download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB try doing this: https://tinyapps.org/blog/201604170700_m...tions.html I would have chosen a different option to msconfig as it can lead to problems like this. Easier ways to get to safe mode.
