I recently upgraded my display from a 1440x900 resolution to a 1680x1050 one. While most games run smoothly, Rainbow Six Siege has begun experiencing stuttering and frame rate fluctuations. Reducing the graphics settings to their lowest levels hasn’t resolved this issue.

My system specifications are as follows:
GPU: GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (4gb)
CPU: AMD FX8320E 8 core processor
RAM: 8GB DDR3 memory
New Monitor: Samsung S22C450

Are there any potential solutions to this problem?

This 1680-by-1050 screen—does it support DisplayPort? If so, you may want to purchase a DisplayPort cable and ensure compatible connections.

The 1680x1050 monitor lacks a display port; it only includes DVI and VGA connections. Consequently, a Graphics card Display Port to Dvi adapter likely wouldn’t make a difference.

If it supports DVI, utilize that connection. What do you assume I’m employing? Why would I opt for VGA instead of DVI?
