I share that sentiment. Even though I haven't played any Rainbow Six titles, I've seen the Let's Plays of Vegas and found them quite different from what Ubi claims they are. In my experience, my team just stays in one room, holding the hostage while setting up camps and keeping windows and doors closed for potential threats. I'm uncertain about other game modes Ubi might introduce, but if it remains solely a Hostage scenario, the game could suffer like Titanfall and Evolve, leading to a loss of players within a month.
It seems I’m among the rare ones who truly liked it. Others above me often misunderstand what alpha means, relying on it when deciding about the final match.
I liked the experience, though it feels a bit worn out. It shows promise but I believe Ubisoft must refine it to avoid becoming another forgettable title. The world seems limited, with minimal detail on the weapons. I get that it's an alpha build, but the gameplay might become repetitive, similar to Titan Fall. Both solid games, but I’m curious what new experiences this one brings in terms of options.
I don't focus on visual aspects like graphics or engine details. What matters to me is how the game feels to play. If it's enjoyable, I'll give it a try. I'm not interested in technical specs; I want something fun. The new R6 game has been highly expected, but there hasn't been an actual release for years. Many people told us Ubisoft had abandoned progress due to their preferences. I was hoping for a more tactical, R6-style experience, especially in multiplayer this weekend. Based on what I've seen so far, I wouldn't buy it unless the cooperative mode and tactical elements improve.
