As someone unfamiliar with computers, I’m considering purchasing a laptop for school and occasional gaming. Specifically, I'd like to determine if the Samsung Notebook 9 Pro (with stylus) is capable of running Rainbow Six Siege at a smooth frame rate that isn't disruptive.

The Samsung Notebook 9 Pro incorporates the Radeon 540 graphics processor, while Rainbow Six Siege suggests a minimum of the GTX 670 / Radeon HD 7970 or 280x… When evaluating the 540 against the GTX 670 or the HD 7970, I doubt you’ll achieve optimal gameplay in that title on the Samsung Notebook 9 Pro; it's primarily designed for productivity. An affordable gaming laptop like the HP Pavilion 15-cx0056wm with an i5-8300H processor, 8GB of RAM, and a GTX 1050 Ti can be purchased for $620 and would provide satisfactory performance.

The Samsung Notebook 9 Pro incorporates the Radeon 540 graphics processor, while Rainbow Six Siege suggests a minimum of the GTX 670 / Radeon HD 7970 or 280x... When contrasted with the 540 versus the GTX 670 or HD 7970, I don’t believe you'll achieve optimal performance in that game on the Samsung Notebook 9 Pro; it's fundamentally a productivity device. A more affordable gaming laptop like the HP Pavilion 15-cx0056wm with an i5-8300H processor, 8GB of RAM and a GTX 1050 Ti can be purchased for $620, which would provide satisfactory results.
