I aim to understand what others believe about this. It would be helpful to hear insights from someone who has experience with both teams, allowing us to compare this with NVIDIA's offerings.
It’s certainly a good investment, unless your current drivers are broken, in which case simply replace them with Crimson.
I appreciate several features. The updated design looks great. The new display settings cover all monitors and allow overclocking per game. However, some adjustments remain tricky. To modify advanced options still requires CCC, though a few tabs are missing (likely until they fully migrate to the new interface). The Display section lacks resolution and refresh rate controls. Advanced Eyefinity remains via CCC and is slower than before. CPU Overdrive is no longer available. Despite driver changes, it starts up faster. Boot time to desktop improved noticeably. I haven’t seen a Catalyst crash recovery message yet.
I was really upset about the lack of the new Qt interface on Linux.
