Is Radeon chill supported on Linux? Do the open source drivers support it? If not, is it coming to Linux for the foreseeable future?

AMD doesn't offer any GUI driver control tool on Linux. Adjustments like overclocking, undervolting, power caps, and fan curves require third-party applications such as radeon-profile and corectrl. No, there isn't an Adrenaline-like utility. Although Radeon Chill seems to restrict frame rates, there are numerous methods to limit performance in Linux.

It seems to control frame rate based on mouse speed. When the mouse moves quickly, higher FPS is permitted, capped by the user-defined maximum. If the mouse slows down or stops, FPS drops to a lower limit set by another user. Similar functionality exists in Linux?

There’s no lively action here. You can define frame limits for each application, but nothing that reacts to mouse movement or anything similar.
