Just seeking some guidance.
I recently watercooled my PC and overclocked the R9 290 with MSI afterburner.
My system has a 1190 core clock and 1580 memory.
With a +100mv boost, is this a strong or high clock? Should I be able to push it further?

You push the overclock until you notice strange visual effects (artifacts) during testing. Then you reduce the frequency by 15-30. Since each chip behaves differently, I can't provide specific values. Some GPUs come with factory overclocks. If you experience overheating or throttling, it might help. But first, think about replacing the thermal paste and installing a fan close to the GPU on the chassis.

Thank you. I'll keep going and need more than 100mv, so I might try strixx.
I've managed to get an extra 10fps in unigine after the clock, but it's all for VR.
Until I get an RTX once benchmarks start showing results.
