I have an AMD R9 Fury (XFX Water cooled Edition) with a core clock set at 1000mhz. When attempting to raise the core clock or voltage through the sapphire software, the clock resets each time I apply changes. I've tried adjusting memory clock and power consumption, but those remain unchanged. Increasing core clock by small increments like 100mhz, 10mhz, or 1mhz doesn't stabilize it. I'm certain my drivers are current and have not encountered similar issues with other GPUs (like R9 290). I also have a 1000w Evga G2 power supply available if needed.

So I finally figured it out. After upgrading to a new 6700k, the OC began to function. I'm not sure if it's the CPU or the memory, but my main guess is a problem with the GPU linking to the CPU via the GPU.

Could consider removing and readding the program, as the Sapphire software may not work with the XFX card.

Trixx never collaborated with me, even when using a Sapphire-branded card. Consider trying MSI Afterburner. It appears effective across various GPU brands.

It might be related to your motherboard, since even MSI Afterburner struggles to push speeds beyond 1000ghz. You haven't succeeded with other GPUs either.

Do you have the most recent BIOS updates and motherboard drivers available, especially for the BIOS?

I just completed it, but I still had a version from 2012 and updated to one from 2014, unfortunately nothing worked.

I'm not sure, but I'll try to figure it out—have you reached out to BIOStar?

I just did, and they mentioned "overclocking a gpu is not connected to the motherboard," which matches what I expected. Thanks for the assistance.

The Fury card series had its limits when it came to overclocking because of HBM. I remember hearing that a while back, but I'm not sure if this information is still accurate today.
