I made the upgrade to ROG STRIX X470-I GAMING + 2700x to 3950x. Performance is stable so far. Regarding the slots, the board indicates it supports 16+4 with a single 2.5" SSD in a 1 m.2 slot and 8+4+4 when using two 2.5" slots. With the new 3950x model having 24 PCIe lanes, I’m curious if it will still accommodate the same configuration in the second slot. Any insights or past experiences would be helpful.
