R9 390 Low fps in minecraft

I'm not claiming I experience low FPS; it seems the issue is that my current setup doesn’t reach the desired 90-150 FPS. With a R9 390 i5 4460 and 8GB RAM, running 4GB dedicated Minecraft might be challenging. Any tips to boost performance?

He basically mentioned the i5 is weak compared to an i7. Minecraft is actually a demanding CPU game unless you add very powerful texture or shader modifications.

Have you considered reducing the dedicated RAM for the main character? Are you on a server with lots of mods or just the base game? Is this a common setup?

Fun fact. Back then, three years ago during high school, everyone used laptops with small i3 processors and odd AMD components. Keep learning something new each day.

I'm using OptiFine. My previous laptop achieved higher FPS here, and it's not just about the CPU—my budget GPU (FX6300) outperforms an i5.
