I recently purchased a Radeon r9 290 and am struggling to render in Blender. Since it requires OpenCL, I've started using LuxRender. It appears the software is attempting to utilize my CPU, even though it lists eight threads available. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Navigate to file > user preferences > system, then choose OpenCL in the "compute device" section. The overlay below should display "Hawaii." If it shows "CPU," alter it to "Hawaii" manually.

I can't alter anything beyond setting the CPU as the compute device.
