Hey there! I heard your R7000 suffered a surge issue. Would the RT-AC3200 perform better in that situation?

Well, it seems you're referring to data transfer rates. The RT-AC3200 is expected to offer around 3.2 Gbps, while the Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 has a theoretical speed of 1.9 Gbps. I'm not sure if the RT-AC3200 supports AiMesh functionality. From a price standpoint, Amazon lists the RT-AC3200 at approximately $175, whereas the Netgear model is around $150.

You're probably getting the RT-AC3200. It offers more capabilities you enjoy, and you're frustrated with NetGear's support. You don't need AiMesh, though they mentioned it will come later in the development cycle after the initial phase.
