Yes, this method involves using the BIOS settings to keep the system active even after power cuts and reboots.

I don't mind much about what others are experiencing since you can't be sure either way, and each chip behaves differently. My 5800x3D actually performs better than expected—maybe because of the MSI board's generous settings or just a bit of luck with the silicone. But does that really matter in real life? Probably not, so I get about 1 frame per second more in some apps. Woo! That means I lock my frame rate at 165fps or more, baby!

You're sourcing those numbers from various places, right? The Cinebench score comes from a specific benchmark. Other elements like RAM speed and overclocking can influence the result. Make sure unnecessary programs are closed—background tabs or downloads can lower your CPU rating. You might also have Steam or other browsers running in the background, which can affect scores. Consider using Ryzen Master to toggle PBO; setting it on BIOS keeps it active without needing the software. Adjusting CPU settings like clock speed in Ryzen Master can help you fine-tune your benchmark performance.

Don't rely solely on auto settings, check your results first—then adjust as needed, though not too late.

I don't understand why so many people are talking about RAM speed affecting your score. Cinebench doesn't adjust based on memory speed, and you'd expect only small changes between DDR5 3600 and DDR5 6000. More likely, PBO is turned off or the Windows setup has a lot of background processes running.

If temperatures are normal, restart the test and run Cinebench again if necessary.

I'm running Cinebench 2024. Those figures come from R23, but Maxon no longer provides that release. The latest results are from Cinebench 2024, which shows a big difference from the old numbers. Don't worry about the title—it's easy to overlook those details.
