Just after installing Windows, I changed the power plan to High Performance, similar to how I used to do it before. Could this be the reason, even though the temperatures aren’t extremely high?

It could be! I shouldn't stress too much. Temperatures are okay even during the peaks.

That's my perspective based on what I've learned. If the situation doesn't involve typical high temperatures and only occasional spikes, it should be fine. Nonetheless, I plan to run a test today using balanced mode.

I think I activated high performance mode with my 5800x3D. The 7950x3D might not be suitable because it interferes with the core parking for the hybrid architecture. It could improve idle temperatures and reduce P state triggers during idle if you try it.

Without a solid cooling setup, I’d expect to see more consistent results rather than inconsistent spikes. The lower-than-expected idle temps suggest something is wrong with the cooling performance.
