R7 5800x – a few queries.
Hey readers, today marks the completion of my build specs. The setup includes a Strix B550 F Gaming motherboard, a Ryzen 7 5800X CPU, Noctua Nh D15 cooler, Corsair LXVengeance 32GB RAM, Corsair LXP 3200MHz CL16 PSU, a Corsair 4000D airflow case, and a Corsair RM750X cooler. I'm trying to push the 5800X to its limits, but I'm unsure if I'm doing it correctly. My OC is set to manual via Ryzen Master, keeping all cores at 4650MHz with 1.25V under full load, which typically reaches around 60-70°C. Recently, a friend warned that manual all-core OC can be risky, suggesting sticking to Auto OC or PBO in Ryzen Master. However, when I run Cinebench, it caps at 4200MHz. Do you have any tips or advice on this? Thanks!
Hi! I'm just waiting my 5800X. I have the same case, motherboard and RAM, but I have 2x8GB 3200 mhz CL16. Stock Fans of the case. I am thinking about to buy 2 fans QL140 to put it in the front panel if is neccesary. I recommend you to use the free software PROJECT HYDRA of Yuri Bubliy to get the maximun performance and low voltages. You can use the free version or the paid version (Hydra Pro).
