Yesterday I installed a new 3800x for my R7 1700. The BIOS update worked fine, but I’m having issues with memory detection. It won’t boot even with XMP enabled. The only settings that function are 2133MHz. Previously, at 3000CL16 it ran smoothly, but now it struggles to reach 2400MHz. I’m using an X370 SLI Plus from MSI with the latest BIOS. Anyone have any advice?

Check if the CPU slot is correctly installed. The other sides are available or already occupied.

I didn't alter the memory module. Just changed the CPU.
