The guide clarifies the performance details: a 3700MHz clock stays under 3.9GHz during rendering tasks, but reaches up to 4.21GHz in other operations. No overclocking has been applied to the chip.

Are you utilizing every available core? The 4.2 GHz boost is for a single core; I believe it could reach up to 4.4 GHz.

Several case fans and a dual fan noctua nh-d15 equipped with cryonaut thermal paste are assembled in a meshify C. Cooling doesn't seem to be the issue.

I'll need to verify this. In both cases, using Cinebench and Blender, I only checked the frequency in the task manager showing 3.9GHz, but when I move files or just shift the cursor, it jumps to 4.2GHz.

I adjusted my 3800x manually to 4.4 GHz at 1.375V, and it maintains that speed when running certain applications. Under NH-D15 it can reach 85-90°C, so be careful. With Premeire it didn’t push the CPU beyond 4.2 GHz.
