I purchased an R7 3700X with a 2600 MHz clock speed and placed it on a system that already had a 2600 MHz chipset. It won't boot, the GPU fans aren't spinning, and the motherboard box indicates it's ready for a Ryzen 3rd gen processor. I've already gone through all the troubleshooting steps suggested before this issue. My setup includes a Gigabyte B450, gaming Wi-Fi Corsair 2x8 RAM, Corsair 600W PSU, and an MSI MECHOC OC RX5700XT.

Reset the CMOS. Test one stick at a time and consider using a different CPU board—make sure it was properly flashed with the new BIOS.

No, I haven't updated the bios yet. The latest version is still the third generation.

Inquire with the computer shop or seller about updating the BIOS.

The instructions mentioned 3rd generation readiness, yet the R5 2600 was reused and the issue persisted.
