3300x clearly offers better frame rates compared to 3600x or 2700x
I recommend the 2700, though I often rely on my computer for both work and gaming. Right now, it’s usually best to opt for a minimum of six cores for gaming—even though the 3100 and 3300X perform well on a quad-core setup. You might get the 2700, which could mean slightly lower FPS, but unless you’re aiming for over 144Hz, it shouldn’t be an issue. Plus, it lasts longer and lets you get more out of your system.
I don’t plan to enhance this computer for several years, and the display will be 1080p at 60 frames per second.
It's a solid 2700 100%! This comes from someone using an R7-1700 and they won’t be planning upgrades for another four years or more.
