Hey there, I recently upgraded my PC after the old 10400f and 1660 models weren’t quite ideal for game development. I chose the RX7900GRE and Ryzen 5 7600X. During World of Warcraft sessions, the game would occasionally freeze for a few seconds, followed by my monitors going dark. After a short wait, audio would stop until I adjusted output settings or refreshed the music app. Some programs, like Discord, would crash outright. Interestingly, World of Warcraft didn’t log me out or need a restart at that moment. The issue becomes problematic when the system feels unresponsive, making it tough to pinpoint the problem. I managed to open Task Manager during a previous incident and saw the CPU hitting 100% usage. I’ve started using NZXT Cam to monitor temperatures next time, but it’s unclear when this will happen again. This specific problem hasn’t popped up much in my searches, and the forums haven’t shared any similar experiences. Any suggestions?

Specs: R5 7600X, RX7900GRE, Corsair Vengeance DDR5 2x16GB, 6400MHz (4800MHz running), CL 36, MSI MAG A850GL, PSU MSI PRO B650M-P, Coolermaster Masterliquid 360L Core 120mm, Gen S.

Consider skipping the game or disabling hardware acceleration in all apps you're using. Also, turn off software such as NZXT Cam and any RGB tools.
