Usually I'd say a Hyper 212 fits well with an R5 5500 CPU. However, if you intend to use a fixed clock or fixed voltage on a 6 core/12 thread, 7nm processor, I recommend considering something more powerful. An AIO with a large radiator—preferably 240mm—would be ideal. Temperature management is crucial across all workloads to ensure durability. Keep in mind the processor can't operate effectively at lower voltages (1.2V or less) and constant high clocks, which puts it under continuous stress. The only real solution is maintaining a low operating temperature. I highly advise running your preferred benchmark suite in this configuration. Focus especially on game benchmarks if you're targeting gaming performance. Also, test the same benchmarks with a PBO setup while using curve optimizer for undervolting. When evaluating the results, consider whether early CPU failure is justified by the gains from overclocking. Ultimately, the decision is yours.
I need to improve the cooling system, perhaps using water cooling.
By the way, thanks for your support.
