These concerns revolve around significant challenges. The topics involve complex problems that require careful consideration.

the whole system feels slow while running MHW and I haven’t checked the cause yet, so I’m unsure if it’s the driver or just the 3060 acting strangely. My second PC uses the same driver but a 3070 works fine, so the problem might be different.

I share your view. B450 offers greater flexibility.

However, once the 5600x is ready, I start to wonder if it's worth investing in the 3600 as well. There are budgets involved, so I can't deny that point. But if I were making the choice myself and wanted an upgrade, I'd go with the 5600x first.

the r5 3600 has some limitations but not as severe as it seems—it's around 5% of the issue. pairing it with a 10600kf and a b460 board is quite problematic. I’d look for alternative solutions; neither setup really appeals to me. Switching to an 11400 would be ideal, but it shouldn’t add extra cost. A motherboard change isn’t worth it in most cases. If forced to choose, the r5 3600 seems the best option. The 5900x/5950x might become more affordable later, and even with an older board, power limits are manageable.
