You might have unintentionally turned on the overclocking feature, causing the CPU to run at 4GHz despite low usage. Check your BIOS settings for any hidden overclock options.

Check if Windows is in performance mode. If yes, switch it to balanced or power saving. Also... consider using alternative monitors like HWmonitor, Aida64, or Cpu-z for better tracking.

Windows runs on "AMD Ryzen Balanced," while High Performance and Power Saver are available next. I captured the image using CPU-Z, and I have it saved. CAM is already running on my desktop.

Use Ryzen Master for tracking performance. It’s the only genuine tool for Ryzen, while HWInfo and HW Monitor only update when a task runs. All three I tested, but only Ryzen Master displays underclocking or sleep states.

The Ryzen Master displays clock speeds in the system settings or performance tab after installation.

To view parked cores, simply launch Resource Monitor from Task Manager. Aida64 offers the best accuracy, with Cpu-z also performing well.

Zen 2 is designed to extend clock speeds beyond limits, while most monitoring tools sample at a rate that simulates a heavy load. This setup keeps Ryzen running at full turbo. I removed nzxt, let Pump operate in its standard mode, and connected the fans directly to the board (GPU included).
