After this, I really question trying to push the CPU beyond its limits even after installing a better cooler. This is my first experience with CPU overclocking, and the chip is brand new to me. I’m relieved I checked in before starting. Thanks for your assistance!

Push your system and keep an eye on temperatures. Each silicon component varies. If you have enough thermal margin, check if you’re reaching power constraints. If yes, think about boosting it. Only after that should you explore a manual overclock.

It’s not as extensive as a complete overclock. Usually, the best option now is to turn on “all core boost,” though it uses more power and generates more heat than single-core boosts, but occasionally offers better results than the chip’s standalone performance.
