PBO is configured for auto but your CPU maxes out at 3.6 GHz due to a clock ratio of 36. I’m unsure how to adjust it to run above that. Can you guide me on enabling it properly?
Sure thing. The final or near-final tab in bios usually offers an option like "reset all defaults." Clicking it will restore everything to its original settings. You'll still need to configure your XMP profile, but the CPU should function normally afterward. Even with a 3.6GHz multiplier, the system interprets it as a P-state value and might disregard the adjustment. I'm sure the boost came from the FPS comparisons you provided.
I conducted numerous tests. My 2700X is also unclipped. It ran with a TEC at -30°C for direct cooling. Now it operates within the family HTPC for 4K gaming and video playback.
I wasn't able to locate it. It might not be exactly what you were looking for, but I tried my best. I'm sorry if it didn't work out.
There is an arrow in the lower left corner. Press it three times, zoom the entire screen, and display the full view.
The 1.2v core appears normal. The VID represents the CPU request voltage, not the actual btw. The CPU core voltage is correct. Your actual core temperature is shown by TCtl/Tdie.
That's fine. The CPU will increase performance mainly based on temperatures. When running at full capacity with less than 60°C, it behaves differently. It's interesting how switching from air or liquid cooling to ice water and a pond pump changes things.
