The 2x4GB RAM configuration offers a balance, but the 2666MHz speed suits light gaming better. For everyday tasks, it performs well without needing more memory.

Consider using the iGPU in the 4300GE until you can upgrade to something faster like the 1050ti for a smoother performance. If you already own a 1030, the 10105F seems like an excellent option.

I wasn’t able to persuade my friend to assemble the PC himself, so he opted for a ready-made version. The two setups are nearly the same, differing only in the CPU and GPU.

It's a bit unclear, but both options appear quite alike. I question whether there'd really be a significant distinction between them. If the goal is to eliminate one, retain the AMD model since it offers a more robust upgrade route.

I understand. The i3 PC should run better since it avoids using RAM as VRAM, and you'd like a minimum of 3000MHz RAM for the Ryzen processor.

In the short term, the i3 PC will work better. Over time, the Ryzen setup offers greater flexibility. The i3 is probably using a B460 or H410 chipset, which caps it at 2666 RAM with i3 or i5 options. The Ryzen system provides a more robust upgrade route for each part without needing a new motherboard. If you believe your friend won’t ever upgrade, choose the i3. As mentioned, the iGPU on the Ryzen will be restricted with that amount of RAM.
