Hi, I've owned an AU-R13 for three years and recently it stopped working when I was online. When I turned it on, the fan lights came on but no image appeared on the monitors. I reset the PC, unplugged and replugged the monitors, tried a hard reset, changed the CMOS battery, but nothing displayed on the power button and the motherboard screen was off. Could someone assist me?

Consider the Alienware Aurora R13 setup. Remove the GPU and connect the display directly to the motherboard. Possibly need to reset the CMOS again. Allow it to boot up. Memory training may require a few minutes.

I attempted what you suggested, but I spent about a minute. Then I opened the BIOS, restarted Windows, and it crashed again before returning to the same screen. Edited July 3, 2025 by Mr14A

You don’t see a display, but you can still boot into safe mode. Restart your device and press the appropriate key during startup to enter safe mode.

others have different suggestions. I've tried several times to start the system, removed the CMOS battery, took out the graphics card, and booted without it or with just an SSD. The last time I tried it, I unplugged the graphics card and used a wired mouse—it worked (I remember because I had to hold down the power button). However, I can't connect a monitor to check the status, so I suspect there might be an issue with the graphics card itself. It hasn't been heavily used recently—just light tasks like SolidWorks, games, and Photoshop. The last boot was without the card, and it got warm for a few seconds after startup. Any thoughts on what could cause this after three years of use without any shocks or power interruptions? Thanks ahead!
