Mostly not really. Cloning isn't any different than taking that drive and moving it around. Putting Windows in there isn't as flexible as we want it to be. If you try to do this, you'll get one of three results: 1) It works fine, 2) It fails completely, or 3) It "works," but you spend months chasing down problems. I've seen all three happen. The bigger the difference between your old and new hardware, the less likely it is to work. Just wipe everything clean in the new one instead.

The license for this hard disk copy goes with the old motherboard, which means it won't work on another PC unless you buy a new key. You'll have to buy another one too.
