Your home is compact, so a silent power switch is ideal. (The standard commercial gear seems appealing, but they tend to be energy-intensive wind turbines) You're looking for PoE+ for cameras and other upcoming needs. Any recommendations or brands? Appreciate it!

PoE+ typically refers to power delivery for devices, as internal systems must provide 3-500+ watts depending on the number of ports. Ethernet over power lines isn't standard; these switches handle both power and data. The TP-Link TL-SG1024 offers 24 x 1 Gbps ports without PoE over Ethernet, priced around $82. TRENDnet’s TEG-S24DG supports 24 x 1 Gbps with PoE+, delivering up to 200 meters range at 65W per port, costing about $90. NETGEAR’s GS324P model provides 24 unmanaged ports, 190W PoE budget, and supports 16 ports with 190W each, priced near $280. Another option is the NETGEAR GS324PP, offering 380W PoE+ across all 24 ports at a higher budget of $380.
