I've swapped most of the "new" options in the right-click start menu for Control Panel equivalents. I don't like Windows 10 settings much. Still, if you right-click the volume icon on the taskbar and press play, it will direct you straight to the sounds settings in Control Panel.

it doesn’t appear as an option directly on your device. You’ll need to navigate to the Sound Control Panel on the right side to access the better settings, which might be a different path than what you expected.

Is it available for you? Which version are you currently using?

Understood. I'm using the 2004 version now.

Maybe it’s time to dive in after hearing so much negative about the update, so I didn’t bother anymore.

It totally messed up my roaming profile on two of my desktops, which took some time to sort out. It was a bit unusual, but kind of rare. Apart from that, everything looks pretty normal now—still nothing seems worse than in 1909. I haven’t heard any scary tales lately, though updates can sometimes cause surprises.

@Moonzy You can also tap the search button at the bottom of the toolbar, type "control panel," and choose it. It adds a little extra step, but it helps if you miss the shortcut.

yuh, that's what does, but a more proper way to do it so far the best answer is still win+R, then type Control for first time, then just win+r then enter for the remaining of the time until i need to run other things from it (rarely)
