I'm currently on fast mode, but my internet provider is terrible and I sometimes get connection errors like CRC issues. It might be okay for a few months before these start happening again, and eventually my internet will break too. Should I turn off the fast path? Does it just give me lower latency? How many times do I need to see those errors to really ruin my gaming experience? Right now I have 8k in 24/7 uptime.

Can you just do that yourself, I thought the ISP had to change things too? CRC errors usually mean data loss, so they don't take many hits before affecting a game. Lower latency isn't really an issue for games unless it's less than 100ms. In most cases, you won't even see a difference of 10ms extra unless someone is using a tool to check the speed. Games care more about consistent connection quality rather than just the exact number.

I don't mean that at all! I just want to call my internet company and say they should take it down. Usually, when I play fighting games online, my internet slows way down. My connection speed was already pretty slow anyway even in Valorant with the extra data added on top. So taking the fast path is probably going to help things up a bit more than not.
