Hi. I just assembled my PC with a 5900X and an Artic liquid cooler 280. The Rev4.0 installation worked fine, but the Ryzen-specific setup didn't. I noticed my system spikes in temperature very quickly during short bursts of high load. My CPU cooler is set to 70% minimum, 85% at 60°C and 100% at 80°C. This rapid rise seems unusual. I tried reapplying thermal paste and it didn’t help. Someone might have an explanation—please share if you see anything. I attached a video showing the issue. The GPU is fine, but I want to stress-test both components. If I don’t apply stress, the temperature stays stable. Around 83°C the issue appears. It seems there might be a small leak or air bubble inside the water block attached to the CPU.

That's just an assumption, but if the water feels warm quickly, it might mean the system is heating up rapidly. Are you pushing it too hard?

Attempt to adjust the setup for maximum airflow tomorrow. No need for full overclocking, just a performance boost. Don’t recall the exact term.

The CPU temperature isn't the main issue—it's more about the AIO coolant temperature. With the 5800X it behaves similarly; it spikes during heavy use and settles back down, even when using custom loops.

It's the processor temperature. That seems odd since water coolers are supposed to handle brief spikes in heat. The water must warm up during those moments.

AMD indicates a maximum temperature of 86°C for a 360mm AIO setup, which aligns with the design of models like the 5800x. Temperatures in the higher-end 5000 series can be unusual.

It looks a bit excessive if you're not pushing it hard. I'd double-check for any air pockets in the upper part of the water block. If they exist, it might be the issue—make sure the whole block is submerged in water.

It seems he’s reaching 80 under continuous pressure once the water heats up, taking roughly one second.

You might also try watching a video where someone tests a CPU and checks its temperature. This can help confirm if the readings look typical or unusual.
