I mean you're talking about getting back the information that wasn't saved on the traditional hard drive. Those sections are meant for storage, not for keeping data.

All your information is kept on the SSD or HDD. The CPU, RAM, and motherboard don’t retain any data. Actually, the BIOS settings are saved in the CMOS — you might want to copy those settings to a file. It’s usually safest to reset the CMOS or reboot to factory settings before selling it.
